Paramedics and Paramedics Certified in Intensive Care

Seeking quality paramedics to integrate into CCA’s progressive patient care system, supported with independent medical direction, and responding to primary 911 requests for several communities as well as critical and non emergent interfacility transports. CCA provides Critical Care training through recognized programs for medics that qualify. Standard technology employed by medics at CCA includes 12 lead, capnography, ventilators, triple channel pumps, dopplers and CPAP.

Community Care Ambulance’s service area is located in beautiful North East Ohio in the Eastern Suburbs of Cleveland along the Lakeshore of Lake Erie between Cleveland, OH and Erie, PA. Community Care Ambulance currently operates out of three independent bases of operation: Ashtabula (Corporate Offices), Middlefield and Lake. Community Care Ambulance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1994 by a collaboration between University Hospitals and ACMC, a Cleveland Clinic affiliate hospital, with the goal of fulfilling a need for quality medical transportation services for North East Ohio communities. Community Care Ambulance has grown from a single county provider to now providing services and dispatching over 40 units to a 5 county region; and staff has tripled!

Candidate Qualifications:

Essential Skills required to be a successful Paramedic with Community Care Ambulance are: excellent clinical skills with the ability to communicate effectively through radio communications and email, teamwork, prioritization and problem solving.

Qualified candidates will provide skilled patient care. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and current ACLS CICP card is preferred. Dependable work history required.
